Recently Unearthed: The Static Jacks

This summer I started a new list of bands I wanted to tell you about. Recently I finally finished my old list, so I'm happy to get started on this "new" list. In this case, my tardiness might have come in handy. I had downloaded Static Jacks originally from Daytrotter, but now they have a new album out -- IN BLUE -- that is way even more awesome than the tracks from Daytrotter.

I get really lost in their grungy sound; it's soothing in a loud way. I find myself in a trance, just pounding my fist on the table along with the beat. I think this album will be great for my next road trip; time will fly by listening to it.
